Summer 2025 Reading & Writing Program at DC Speech Language & Literacy Center
This summer, we are excited to offer an intensive reading and writing program in addition to individual therapy sessions!
Join us this summer for a boost in reading and writing with our 2:1 group intensive program. This program is available to elementary, middle, and high school students, and participants will be paired by age/grade and skill targets.​

Who?
Our 2:1 group intensive program is available to elementary, middle, and high school students. Participants will be paired by age/grade and skill targets.
What?
This program will support your child's goals related to any of the following:
-
phonemic awareness
-
decoding
-
spelling
-
reading fluency
-
reading comprehension
-
written expression
3-5 individualized goals will be targeted based on what your child needs. Sessions will be a combination of individual and group work.
There will be two students in each group for a more personalized experience. All sessions are run by a certified speech-language pathologist specializing in literacy development.
When and Where?
We will be offering the following intensive groups this summer:
June 23 - July 17 (4 weeks, M - TH):
8:30am - 9:30am (2 spots)
9:30am - 10:30am (2 spots
1pm -2pm (2 spots)
June 30 - July 31 (5 weeks, M - TH):
8:30am - 9:30am (4 spots)
9:30am - 10:30am (4 spots)
All sessions will be held in-person at our office in Upper Northwest DC.
Additional Details
The cost of the 4-week program (June 23 - July 17) is $2,480, to be paid in full upon registration.

The cost of the 5-week program (June 30 - July 31) is $3,100, to be paid in full upon registration.
​
Participants will also receive a​ one-page progress report and one 30-minute parent meeting to take place after the session ends.
